Dear Composition Students,

Good Morning!  Thank you for coming to the computer lab again!

Today I have 2 things I want you to do.

1) - blog journal - "Please describe one of your best friends.  Tell: their name, how long you have known them, how you met, what you have in common with them or enjoy doing together, and why you like them."  Your paragraph should be 10 - 15 sentences. 

As you type, please think about making good sentences with subject and verbs, using capital letters, and using punctuation (periods and commas.

Please use "Spell-check." Ask me if you do not know how to use the spell-check. (It is the on the top, right side. It is green with A,B, C on top it.)


2) - IBT TOEFL style practice - "Leaders like Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and Barrack Obama have made important contributions (gifts) to the people of the United States.  Name another world leader you think is important.  Give specific (detailed) reasons why you think this person is important.  --What did they do to help their country? What did they do to help other countries.  Please give a lot of information."
